Information
Australia is one of the most spectacular and safest
countries in the world and is smothered in gorgeous
coastlines, white sand beaches and beautiful
countryside.Whether you go sailing on Sydney
Harbor, watch the sun rise over the Coral Sea, whale
watch at Byron Bay or just soak up the sun, you will
not go home disappointed. Australia is also the world's largest
island and is the only country that is
also a continent. It also has more
beaches (7,000 in total) than any other
nation.
Australia Study Center
Bond University offers a personalized academic
environment with access to unparalleled academic and
technological resources. At Bond students thrive in smaller
study groups where eminent professors and
industry-experienced lecturers know them by name. By
undertaking three-semesters-per-year instead of the usual
two; graduates finish their studies sooner.
Lecture theatres, case study rooms
and tutorial rooms are conveniently located in the
University Centre building. Several student restaurants,
cafes and bars circle the lake; and on-campus accommodation
is within easy walking distance of all university
faculties. The study facilities here are world-class,
incorporating high-tech lecture theatres, the latest
broadband and wi-fi computer connections, and libraries that
are ranked among Australia’s best.
Complementing these academic
features, you’ll find a comprehensive selection of
recreational and social outlets that encourage interaction
between students outside the classroom. Our former students
will tell you that one of the best things about studying at
Bond is the social life. With a much smaller number of
students than other universities, no-one gets lost in the
crowd.

Housing
Housing consists of
double rooms with two single beds, chest of
drawers, bedside tables, wardrobe, bookshelves, telephone - ISD
& IDD; and computer internet access to the University network.
All on
campus rooms and common rooms are non-smoking.
Linens are provided and the rooms are serviced weekly.
Shared laundry facilities with washers and dryers. All rooms
are air-conditioned.
Also included is
a 10 meal-per-week plan.
Program Fees
The total cost of the program fees, including tuition, room
and meals is $18,000 per semester for the 2008-2009 academic year.
All SLU financial aid and scholarships, with the exception
of those geared specifically towards housing, will go with the
student.
In addition, a mandatory $250 international insurance fee per
semester will be added to the student's account.

Requirements
In order to obtain admission, which is not guaranteed, a student
must meet the following requirement(s):
- 2.5 GPA
- Not be in academic or
disciplinary probation
